NCC Boys Unit

Convenor: Mr. Dilip Vasave

Objectives:

1) To maintain average 90 % and above in development of discipline, character, brotherhood, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens

2) To enlighten 30% leadership qualities among the youth who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.

3) To arrange 1 activity on fostering Unity in Diversity

4) To arrange 1 Guest Lecture on National Integration

5) To organize 2 activities to raise the morale of the cadets

6) To arrange1 talk show and motivational lecture on Career in Defence forces

7) To provide 100% guidance for B and C Certificate Exams.

8) To conduct 5 Social service activities

9) To celebrate and observe 2 National Festivals on Patriotism

10) To organize 1 lecture on Environment issues and 1 activity on Tree Plantation

NCC LOGO INFORMATION

NCC Flag Contains NCC Crest in gold in the middle, with the letters "NCC" encircled by a wreath of seventeen lotus with a background in Red, Blue and Light blue. Red depicts the Army, Deep Blue depicts the Navy and Light Blue depicts the Air Force. The seventeen lotuses represent the 17 State Directorates.

Eligibility

Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal.
Bearing good moral character.
Enrolled in an educational institution.
Meets the prescribed medical standards.

Age

Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 12 years to 18½ years
Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – Upto 26 years

ENROLLMENT PERIOD

Junior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 2 years
Senior Division/Wing (Boys/Girls) – 3 year

AND REGULATIONS

No student of the male sex of any University offering himself for enrolment in the Senior Division shall be eligible for enrolment :-
unless he is of good character.
unless he is under the age of 24 years.
unless he is on the roll of the College which is providing the unit.
unless he satisfies such standards of physical fitness in height, chest measurement and other respects. -
if he has been dismissed from the University Corps of the Indian Territorial Force or the National Cadet Corps. -
There is also such respect given to the higher ranked officer which they obey to follow under guidance of NCC Officer.
-The enrolled cadet must have to follow the guidelines given for personal development of cadet and welfare of society Directorate.
