Satish Pradhan Dnyanasadhana College, Thane (Arts, Science and Commerce), is an ISO 21001:2018 Certified Institution. The mere fact that we have gone for ISO Certification highlights how serious our institution is in following standard way of working and achieve excellency. We are the first among Degree Colleges in Mumbai to have undergone this rigorous exercise. We are truly committed to achieve all the expectations of our stakeholders.

ISO helps in developing a strong foundation by laying down procedures and its implementation and achievement. It makes record keeping very easy and effective. It also helps to keep a moral check on acts of various stakeholders.

ISO defines all the processes clearly and it is the prerogative of the institution to follow these processes known as SOP’s to have a error free execution of work.

ISO 21001:2018 specifies requirements for a management system for educational organizations (EOMS) when such an organization:

a) Needs to demonstrate its ability to support the acquisition and development of competence through teaching, learning or research;

b) Aims to enhance satisfaction of learners, other beneficiaries and staff through the effective application of its EOMS, including processes for improvement of the system and assurance of conformity to the requirements of learners and other beneficiaries.

The requirements of ISO 21001:2018 are generic and intended to be applicable to an institution that uses a curriculum to support the development of competence through teaching, learning or research, regardless of the type, size or method of delivery.

The main objectives of ISO 21001:2018 are:

 

1. To streamline processes in the institution
2. To strengthen the processes for reducing errors and malpractices
3. To make concerned stakeholder accountable for their interests
4. To avoid duplication of work
5. Utilisation of resources to the optimum.
